Michelle Murphy


Originally from Brazil, Michelle and her daughter moved to Arizona in 2003, where she began practicing yoga after going through a difficult time. She found, as a soccer player and runner, that she always suffered from some sort of neck and back pain. But after practicing yoga regularly, she was no longer in pain. She is immensely grateful for the mental clarity, peace, and physical strength yoga has brought her. So in October 2016, she became certified at floo-id YOGA. Michelle’s advice for students is to, “always be open to the experience every time you come to the mat. When you stop having expectations for what you need to achieve or expectations around comparing yourself to others, this is when yoga brings you the most fulfillment.”
