Julia was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Growing up as a competitive athlete and gymnast, she always loved all things health and wellness. She studied Exercise Science and Sports Medicine at Ball State University before completing her Master’s in Health Education at Lindenwood University. While working as a PE teacher, group exercise instructor, and personal trainer, Julia craved a form of exercise that was more mindful and therapeutic in practice. She was also searching for something that would help with her stress and anxiety. She began taking Yoga at a local studio and fell in love immediately. The mind-body connection, challenging poses, restful postures, mindfulness and meditation practices… it was exactly what she was looking for. After falling in love with the practice, she knew she had to complete Yoga Teacher Training and share this passion with others. Julia‘s goal for her students is that they walk away from class feeling noticeably better (physically, mentally, and emotionally) than when they walked in. She wants every student she encounters to feel revitalized, rejuvenated, and restored. When she’s not teaching Yoga, you can find her personal training, spending time with her dogs, or cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
