Cacee first began her yoga practice in 2012 as a way to supplement her weight-training regimen at the gym. She had stopped practicing yoga for about a year when she discovered Hot Yoga and fell in love. She noticed in her first class how much more focused and present and at peace she was. Over time, she truly felt that yoga could cure anything. That’s when she knew that she truly wanted to teach yoga. She believes that people should feel the benefits, not only physically, but mentally. Her advice to students while they practice is “Always focus on your breath and honor the body you brought to practice today. Not every pose will be perfect every practice. Find where you are in the moment, be present, and focus on your inner peace, your breath.” Cacee has her 200 hour YTT, and is currently working towards her 500 hour certificate.
