hot yoga, 60 minutes
This Hatha yoga class is for everyone, beginners and advanced practitioners, because capabilities grow with each class. All students practice the same postures at individual ability levels while receiving the same benefits. Experienced instructors help students modify poses for beginners, while urging seasoned students to reach new goals. The heated yoga room warms the body, allowing for deeper movement and injury avoidance. Room is heated to 105 degress with 40% humidity. All levels.
hot flow, 60 minutes
Strengthen the mind/body connection by linking breath with a series of dynamic poses. The practice is intensively physical yet spiritually vibrant, cultivating strength, flexibility, balance and inner peace. Room heated to 98 degrees. All levels.
restorative yoga, 60 minutes
This is a gentle yoga class using yoga props, such as blankets and blocks, to support the body to provide a comfortable posture to relax into. The holding of the postures will allow your body to rest and your mind to quiet. This class is wonderful for any experienced practitioner in addition to those who might have a physical limitation or pregnancy. Also as a note, we never stand up in this class. yin yoga, 60 minutes
Yin yoga is a gentler practice where floor postures are held for extended periods of time. The body's deeper connective tissues are worked with focus on the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower back to release tension, improve joint mobility and alleviate pain. Enjoy the meditative qualities of the practice in a room lit by candles and set to tranquil music. Suitable for ALL LEVELS yin is a perfect complement to one's yang practice (hot, flow, etc.) or active lifestyle. Try it to experience the benefits both on and off the mat. 60 minutes. prenatal yoga, 60 minutes
Within each Prenatal class we will practice the art of relaxation through breath awareness, reduce physical tension, and safely prepare for labor. This is a great way to stay flexible and relaxed while you nurture you and your baby. Postures are modified so there is no compression on the belly. postnatal/mommy n me, 60 minutes
In a supportive environment with other moms (dads welcome), work gently to regain abdominal tone and body strength while addressing pain in the shoulders, back and pelvis. It is recommended that babies not be crawling or walking to take this class.
yingong meditation, 90 minutes
